Blacklick Valley School District – Home of the Vikings

Blacklick Valley is a rural school district with approximately 600 students enrolled from Grades K-12. The District is comprised of 2 facilities, one of which contains the Administrative Office and the Jr-Sr High School. The other facility is the Elementary School. Central Cambria School District – Home of the Red Devils

Central Cambria Schools educate the students residing in and around the Ebensburg, Jackson Twp, and Cambria Twp. areas. The District is comprised of Two Elementary Schools, a Middle School, a High School, and an Administrative Office. This School District contains 4 Educational Facilities and 1 Administrative Facility. For the youngsters, East Side Elementary and West Side Elementary provide a Kindergarten through Fifth Grade Education. For the the early teenagers, Johnstown Middle School covers Sixth through Eighth Grade and features Sports, Clubs, and Music Programs. Lastly, Greater Johnstown High School finishes up the curriculum with Ninth through Twelfth Grade and features Specialized Career Pathways including Arts, Business, Communications, and Technology. Located southwest of the City of Johnstown, Westmont is a community that was originally built to avoid the epidemic of flooding by being built at a higher elevation than the city.
