Greg and Donny at Christmas Time

We have introduced Greg and Donny on our site before and found their web-sitcom to be hilarious.  They were born and raised here in Johnstown, but moved elsewhere to pursue other interests.  Regardless, here is their Christmas Episode which is a spoof of the Famous Charles Dickens story: “A Christmas Carol”.  The plot of the story is Greg plays Gregeneezer who is vicious and set in his ways and Donny plays the 3 Ghosts (you get the idea).  Enjoy!

While browsing Youtube for funny videos that included Johnstown we came across Greg & Donny.

Greg & Donny both grew up in Johnstown and now live in NYC. They have been doing characters with the accent for years and decided that it would make a funny sitcom pilot. They figured no one in mainstream media has really done anything with the Western PA accent yet, and it also felt like the best way for them (since what they do is comedy) to pay tribute to their hometown.

They wrote a pilot, and decided to start posting video shorts to introduce their characters and the comic tone of the show. The web series has generated a strong momentum, so their plan is to continue exploring what they can do online while raising industry awareness of the pilot script.
