Veterans Day which is normally observed on November 11th is also known as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the world. This marks the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I.
The official Veterans Day National Ceremony is held on Nov 11th beginning at 11am at Arlington National Cemetery.
