Fallen Rider in Ebensburg

As mentioned in many previous posts, we at MyJohnstownPA.com are avid motorcyclists.  What happened yesterday is another sad reminder of the dangers we face anytime we hit the open road.  Raymond A. Bremer, 63 years of age, was supposed to meet up with some friends for a trip to Tennessee when his motorcycle struck a Jeep, resulting in  his death.

Authorities mention that Mr. Bremer was indeed wearing a helmet, yet his death was ruled as trauma to the front of the head.  The driver of the Jeep, Alec Nedimyer, 20, of Summerhill was in the process of making a left turn into the mini mall plaza when the accident occured, according to authorities.  Also, Police report that the motorcycle hit the side of the jeep.  The ongoing investigation involves an accident reconstructionist working with authorities to get a better idea of what happened.

Mr. Bremer was a father of three, McCort Graduate, IUP Graduate,  and Motorcycle Safety Instructor.

Our thoughts and condolences go out for Mr. Bremer, his family, and his friends.

As any memorial or benefit information is obtained, we will post it as soon as possible.
